Parramatta, 28 August 2025 – Global Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh will make history this October when he headlines his first-ever Sydney stadium concert at CommBank Stadium, marking a milestone moment for both the artist and the city.
Scheduled for Sunday, 26 October, the concert is part of Dosanjh’s record-breaking AURA 2025 world tour, which has captivated audiences across North America, Europe, and Asia. The Parramatta performance will see him become the first Indian artist to headline a Sydney stadium, with tens of thousands of fans expected to attend.
The City of Parramatta Council has hailed the event as a major cultural and economic win for the region. Lord Mayor Martin Zaiter described it as a defining moment:
“The performance at CommBank Stadium by Diljit puts us on the international stage and adds to one of the biggest weekends the City has ever seen. Parramatta’s status as a true global city and home of festivals, sports, and entertainment makes us the perfect place for this concert.”

The event coincides with Sydney’s Festival of Lights (Diwali), with NSW Minister for Sport Steve Kamper noting the concert is an ideal way to celebrate cultural diversity.
Dosanjh, who has electrified crowds at Coachella, Bollywood, and European arenas, will bring his trademark energy to Sydney with hit tracks such as “G.O.A.T” (236M views), “Lover” (123M views), and “Proper Patola” (364M views).
NSW Member for Parramatta Donna Davis emphasized the concert’s significance in strengthening cultural ties between Australia and India:
“Hosting Diljit in Parramatta will ignite our city during the Festival of Lights. This is more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of culture, community, and connection.”
