This milestone will be celebrated with a series of exhibition matches aimed at introducing and promoting this dynamic traditional Indian sport to students and the wider Australian public.

Grand Opening Events:

  • May 23rd: Inauguration of the school ground and exclusive exhibition match for students.

  • May 24th: Public opening with demonstration matches to raise awareness and participation.

The opening ceremony on May 23rd will be graced by prominent dignitaries from the Consulate General of India, NSW Parliament, and the Department of Education and Training. Their presence underscores the cultural significance and growing recognition of Kho Kho as a sport that fosters agility, teamwork, and heritage.

International Representation and Growing Momentum
Earlier this year, Kho Kho Australia proudly represented the nation at the first-ever Kho Kho World Cup in Delhi, India, with both men's and women's teams competing on the global stage. Their participation not only demonstrated skill and sportsmanship but also solidified Australia's commitment to integrating Kho Kho into the mainstream sports fabric.
