Aamir Khan Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack: “What the Terrorists Did Is Against Religion”; Says He’s Proud to Be Indian

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, has once again spoken out strongly against the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. In a recent interview, the actor expressed deep sorrow and anger over the incident, stating that the actions of the terrorists are in direct contradiction to the principles of any true religion.

“This kind of violence is not just inhumane, it is also against the core values of every faith, including the one these attackers claim to follow,” said Aamir. “As an Indian, I feel pain, but I also feel proud of the unity and resilience shown by the people of our country in such times.”

A Film with a Heart

Aamir Khan’s film Sitaare Zameen Par, slated for release on June 20, marks his return to the silver screen in a powerful role. He plays the coach of a basketball team comprised of special needs children, aiming to inspire and uplift through sport and emotional connection.

Much like his previous socially conscious films, this one too is expected to strike a chord with audiences for its message of inclusion and hope.

In the same interview, Aamir emphasized the importance of compassion, unity, and national pride. “No matter how dark the times, we must stand together, rise above hate, and continue building a nation that believes in justice, empathy, and peace,” he added.

Aamir Khan has long been known for blending entertainment with social responsibility, and both his statements and his upcoming film reflect that ongoing commitment.
